Home Loans Reimagined

Our client envisioned venturing into the realm of Home Loans within the South African market. Our mission? To craft a seamless digital solution that not only guides users through the entire home-buying journey but consolidates every step – from discovering the perfect house to moving in and securing insurance – all within a single, user-friendly platform.

My Role: Experience Designer

Timeframe: 7 weeks end-to-end delivery

Following the Double Diamond framework, our team of four specialists in UX research, CX, and product design, in just seven weeks, researched, ideated, prototyped, tested and refined a comprehensive solution that was well-received by our stakeholders and is scheduled to move into production in the upcoming year.

Multi app strategy

Our client envisioned venturing into the realm of Home Loans within the South African market. Our mission? To craft a seamless digital solution that not only guides users through the entire home-buying journey but consolidates every step – from discovering the perfect house to moving in and securing insurance – all within a single, user-friendly platform.

Role: Product Designer

Timeframe: 2 weeks

This solo conceptual project involved exploring diverse strategies to enhance user navigation across the client's suite of applications.  It's important to note that the design of the app were all existing and my objective was to find a way to seamlessly navigate between them all, this meant I needed to redesign some of the landing screens to fit the look/feel of the suite of apps as a whole

Digital Funeral solution exploration

Our client in South Africa sought to reimagine the funeral experience for their customers. Our focus was on creating a comprehensive digital solution that not only offers users access to funeral plans and coverage but also connects them with trusted partners in funeral parlors. The aim was to assist users in efficiently planning and executing funerals for themselves or their loved ones whilst making the process as easy and empathic as possible.

My Role: Experience Designer

Timeframe: 7 weeks end-to-end delivery

For this project we followed the Double Diamond framework with our team of three specialists in CX, Experience and product design, researching, ideating, prototyping, and testing a ecosystem solution that was well-received by our stakeholders and is moving into a second phase of exploration in the new year.
